Ericsson wins fiber-to-home network order from Bangladesh Grameen CyberNet
LM Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) AB said it has won an order from Bangladeshi internet service provider Grameen CyberNet Limited for a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network.
No financial details were disclosed.
The network will be based on Ericsson's gigabit passive optical network (GPON) system.
'The move will allow Grameen CyberNet to provide advanced broadband services, such as games and video-on-demand services,' said Ericsson.
